ORCA EVO 120

A speargun for lovers of the wait (aspetto) technique in high visibility conditions, this model shows its true colours when fishing large specimens of amberjack, meagre and dentex, as well as in deep drops offs and reefs where long range shots on the fall may be required to hunt large grouper. This model has also been tested against very large Cubera Snapper with excellent results.

The Orca Evo 120 standard setup is with a 150×7,5mm spear.

The Evo series combines tradition, experience and technology, the use of high-tech materials offers great possibilities for the final configuration of your speargun, due to the fact that we can alter the position and amount of mass on the spearguns barrel, obtaining a perfectly balanced speargun. The speargun is manufactured from very thick carbon fibre, providing extreme stiffness and considerable mass. Inside the barrel there is a hydrophobic material which is unchanged by water and provides the necessary buoyancy and some added mass.

We have chosen a simple double band configuration, functional and very effective in any hunting condition, even in the most extreme scenarios, allowing the spearo very easy speargun maintenance. Changing the bands is a very quick process and can be done in the water or in the boat, if spare bands are available.

The different components which complete the setup: trigger mechanism, spear, bands, reel, handle etc. have been put under stringent testing both on land and in the sea to determine their validity, durability and correct function in any condition.

Each speargun is individually balanced in the sea according to the final configuration.
